Amendment Standard - Active.
This amendment to IEEE Std 802.3-2022 specifies additions to and appropriate modifications of the IEEE Std 802.3 MAC Merge sublayer and the Time Synchronization Service Interface (TSSI) to support 10 Mb/s Single-Pair Ethernet point to point PHYs. (The PDF of this standard is available at no cost compliments of the IEEE GET program https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/browse/standards/get-program/page/series?id=68)

Specify additions to and appropriate modifications of the IEEE Std 802.3 MAC Merge function and the Time Synchronization Service Interface (TSSI) to support 10 Mb/s Single Pair Ethernet point to point PHYs. Extend IEEE Std 802.3 to add 10 Mb/s Single Pair Ethernet point to point PHYs to the PHYs supporting the MAC Merge function and the Time Synchronization Service Interface (TSSI).
