IEEE Draft Standard for Digital Twin Maturity Model and Assessment Methodology in Industry
Summary
New IEEE Standard - Active - Draft.
This standard defines a digital twin maturity model for industry, including digital twin capability domains and corresponding subdomains. This standard also defines assessment methodologies, including assessment content, assessment processes, and assessment maturity levels.
The digital twin maturity model is used to measure the current maturity level of the digital twin application in an enterprise, enabling stakeholders to clearly identify strengths and improvement points, and accordingly prioritize what to do in order to reach higher maturity levels. With respect to lifecycle, fidelity, and scale, this standard helps industrial enterprises implement digital twin in research and development, design, production, maintenance, and service phases.
