IEEE Recommended Practice for Voltage-Endurance Testing of Enameled Wire
Summary
New IEEE Standard - Inactive-Withdrawn.
The scope of this recommended practice covers the application of center grounded applied voltage but not voltage wave shapes in which either the positive or negative peak voltage is at ground potential.
The purpose of this recommended practice is to describe a method for obtaining voltage-endurance capability for enameled (continuous film insulated) wire. It is also the purpose of this recommended practice to indicate the manner in which these voltage-endurance data should be analyzed and the context in which they should be interpreted.
