The purpose of this guide is to recommend test procedures to evaluate the electrical, mechanical, and durability performance of wildlife protective products.
The guide provides the end user with test recommendations to ensure that these products will not compromise the dielectric performance of the supporting structure, will not cause premature failure due to normal environmental conditions, and will minimize the possibility of a momentary or permanent outage to the electrical system in the event of wildlife interaction.
