IEEE Guide for the Application of Faulted Circuit Indicators for 200 / 600 A, Three-phase Underground Distribution
Summary
New IEEE Standard - Superseded.
This document specifies an exchange format, using XML, for identifying all of the hardware, software, and documentation associated with a unit under test (UUT). This UUT may be tested and diagnosed using a test program set (TPS) on an automatic test system (ATS).
This application guide provides information on what a FCI is designed to do and describes methods for selecting FCIs for three-phase, 200 / 600 amp underground distribution circuits. This application guide will complement the existing single phase application guide.
The purpose of this guide is to provide an industry document that provides information for the application and use of FCIs on three-phase circuits in the electric power industry.
